Overall Score – 3.5/5 - It is better to be middle of the road than to stand out for being inferior. However, this leaves areas of improvement for Bloog electronic cigarette. For those who are looking for an affordable option that does not have too many whistles and bells, Bloog could be ideal for you. Many of the brands of e-cigarettes available, focus more on image while falling flat in too many other areas. Bloog was possibly the perfect fit for being just above average in all areas. While that doesn’t leave much to rave about it, also doesn’t leave much to complain about either. You get the basics of what you need with some options such as which kind of battery you would like to use. One area where Bloog does stand out is there flavor selection, especially for the 30ml option. Not to mention the flavors are good, unlike some brands that offer a wide variety but none of them taste good. If Bloog continues to improve, this brand of electronic cigarettes should see the number of their already steady brand loyal customers’ increase.

Presentation & Packaging – 3.5/5 – While the Bloog brand of electronic cigarettes is on the rise, it seems to be partly because it is a good middle of the road product in almost every aspect. So, it should come as no surprise that this is about where Bloog falls when it comes to presentation and packaging. While not as sleek, modern, crisp and clean as other brands, this brand of e-cigarettes also doesn’t look quite as bland or cheap as some of the others either. If looks and style of your electronic cigarettes are high on your list of needs, though, this may not be the right one for you. Your choices for the cigarette include white, black or silver, which is more unusual on the market.

Flavor – 4/5 – Where consumers do seem to be happiest with this brand is the flavor, and we tend to agree. For some reason, we were not expecting much from the flavor, but that could be because we had not yet researched any reviews online. The flavor was mild but definitely full. This electronic cigarette choice packs a lot of punch and is quite flavorful. It just isn’t quite as intense or robust as some of the others on the market these days. However, for those who don’t need too much flavor but certainly wouldn’t be happy with too weak a flavor, the Bloog could be the perfect choice.

Flavor Variety – 4/5 – Flavor choices come from the Liquid Fusion Flavored Juices. Juices are what some forms of e-cigarettes use, which is another thing to keep in mind when considering which brand you may want to chose. While not the largest variety of flavor choices, more options are expected to be added to soon and there are some interesting choices available now. It depends, however, on which kind of juice you would like. For the 5 ml Liquid Fusion Juices, you have about six to choose from including menthol, vanilla, watermelon and variations of classic tobacco tastes. The 30 ml versions, though, have a much wider variety. Those available for 30 ml include chocolate, peppermint and yet even more tobacco flavors including a red and a Turkish option.

Vapor Volume – 3.5/5 – Once again the Bloog electronic cigarette falls somewhere in the middle when it comes to vapor volume. While it was almost a four out of five stars, it just didn’t quite make it, at least this version. We felt that while much better than some competing brands that are not much thicker or fuller than air, Bloog still could use some improvement to create a fully robust plume of vapor. It did not create the liquid residue that seems to often result from weak vapor volume; it just didn’t reach the full expectation smokers have come to enjoy. However users do seem to notice as we did that you do get fuller vapor volume when the battery is fully charged and first used. Over time, this diminishes a bit.

Battery Life – 3.5/5 – What can we say; again, this is a middle of the road area for Bloog. The battery life is adequate. You may be able to find some brands with a battery life that is longer. We can assure you that there are a great number of brands that have a battery life that does not last as long as Bloog. With Bloog, you have the choice of automatic batteries and manual batteries. The automatic batteries do not require priming, which is why we opted for this kind. We also chose the kind that is the same length as the cigarette. Reviews online seem to have plenty of favorable feedback about either the automatic or manual batteries. The trick is knowing what you get when you make your choice.

Value – 3.5/5 – The Bloog electronic cigarette system is less expensive than many. However, part of the reason for this is that you are not getting the same quality you may be getting with other brands. As with the other  areas of this review, what you basically get with Bloog falls square in the middle, meaning the price is decent for what you get, making it a reasonable value for the product. If you have never used e-cigarettes before then this may be a more economical way to try one and get used to it and you can always change at a later date.

Shipping – 3.5/5 – Bloog does have a unique offer for shipping that gives military personnel free shipping on their orders. However, this did not apply to us and the shipping fee was about average. Always partial to brands that offer free shipping because it seems many companies offer a lower product price and when you get hit with the high shipping cost as you place your order you realize you didn’t save anything. Overall, the cost was reasonable and the product arrived fairly quickly. We ordered at the start of a weekend then realized orders are not processed on weekends. Otherwise this was an average score.
