Overall Score – 4/5 – As with anything, the Eluma cigs have their strong and weak points. Overall, this is actually one of the better choices we tested and reviewed. As far as look, favor, performance, price and even shipping, there is very little that could be criticized about the Eluma cigs. However, this does not mean this product is perfect.  The battery life, for instance, was certainly one of the areas we would like to see this brand of electronic cigarettes improve. The battery has a direct effect on vapor volume as it dies, and it seems to drain too quickly. Aside from that, however, we did not have any other complaints. Doing online research we did find issues other users had though. The main thing we noticed users mentioning if they had a complaint was the possibility of a liquid smoke leak. While we did not have any issue with this during testing, it can be more common for electronic cigarettes that use the three part cigarette design. Presentation & Packaging – 5/5 – Fairly sleek, stylish and modern, the Eluma starter kit also still keeps things simple. For those who also like the familiar look of one of their former favorite brands of cigarettes, this certainly has it covered. The cigarette color choices are a clean and simple choice of black or white and the packaging doesn’t stray far from maintaining this same simplistic but modern look. While the feedback is that the cigarette packs look somewhere between the standard packs and a pack of gum, the bottom line is that Eluma has put together effortless style.

Flavor – 4.5/5 – Much of this does depend on the flavor that you may choose. While we are partial to how the standard traditional flavor tastes more than anything, each of the flavors is considered. The fact that each flavor comes in full to no nicotine gives all users a great variety and is closer to the real thing than many brands. If you were a ultra light cigarette smoker, then you can find the similar experience with Eluma cigs ultra light in any of the flavors. Each of the flavors was robust without being overpowering. Even the menthol, which can come on too strong, was smooth.

Flavor Variety – 4/5 – Eluma flavor cartridges may not have quite the extensive number of choices many other brands have, but it does have several. What it lacks in fancy cigarette flavors, it makes up for in other ways. For one thing in the traditional tobacco flavor you can choose from Full, Light, Ultra Light just like you would with real cigarettes. The other plus that Eluma cigs offer is a variety pack so you can have more than one kind at a time. Aside from menthol, other flavors include cherry, vanilla, chocolate and espresso options. All of the flavors also come in full to no nicotine options.

Vapor Volume – 4.5/5 – The vapor volume for Eluma cigs is impressive even for the starter kit and is only slightly less than a real cigarette. However, the one thing that prevented Eluma from getting a perfect five out of five stars on the vapor volume score is the significant decrease noticed as the battery loses power. At full power, the Eluma cigs vapor volume is full and impressive. Unfortunately, as soon as the battery begins to drain there is a noticeable decline in the quality.

Battery Life – 3.5/5 – The battery life is one area of the Eluma cigs that could use some improvement. It would be wise to go ahead and plan on getting an extra battery with the starter kit. For full vapor volume, the more the battery is charged the better the results. As soon as the battery begins to drain there is a noticeable decrease in vapor volume.
